Who we are
WealthTrust Securities Limited (WTS) is a Primary Dealer appointed by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in terms of the Local Treasury Bills Ordinance No. 8 of 1923 and the Registered Stock and Securities Ordinance No. 7 of 1937.
As one of the largest capitalized non-bank Primary Dealers, Wealth Trust acts as a specialized intermediary in the government securities market with shareholder reserves exceeding Rs. 2.7 Billion as per the audited financial statements for the year ending 31st March 2021 and a Net Asset per Ordinary Share of Rs. 82.03. Our main shareholders consist of Finco Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, SAFE Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, Sierra Holdings (Pvt) Ltd and GENESIIS Software (Pvt) Ltd.
The company’s Board of Directors consists of eminent personalities who also sit on the Boards of other leading listed companies along with a management team consisting of respected professionals with decades of market experience.

Board of Directors
Senaka is an InformationTechnology and Management professional who commenced his career in Australia and now works in Sri Lanka.
Having over 30 years of IT and management experience in diversified sectors, including consulting on World Bank projects, he demonstrates a consistent track record in advancingbusiness entities to achieve sustainable results and profitability. Currently he overlooks the Information Technology Cluster of FINCO Holdings as the CEO of GENESIIS Software and Managing Director of FINCO Technologies; and is a board member of Three Acre Farms PLC, Ceylon Agro Industries, Ceylon Grain Elevators PLC, and Vice President at Finco Holdings.
Senaka holds a Masters in Information Technology (University of Canberra, Australia), a Graduate Diploma in Commercial Law (Australian National University) (ANU) and a Bachelor of Science (ANU) and a member of the part-time faculty at the Postgraduate Institute of Management lecturing in the subject of Information Technology.
Romesh serves as the Managing Director of the company and was its former Chief Executive Officer. A seasoned investment banker with over 22 years of proven expertise in the financial sector, covering areas of Treasury management, trading, portfolio management, corporate debt and corporate finance. He was also instrumental in starting up the company and Wealth Trust has made significant strides in Sri Lanka's debt market under his management.
Romesh began his career as an inter-bank broker attached to “First Capital Money Brokers Limited” where he spearheaded the company and subsequently became a “Senior Manager – Fixed Income Securities” at First Capital Treasuries Limited. He also operated as Head of Treasury at Asia Capital PLC.
He is a distinguished member of the ACI (Financial Markets Association) and an Associate Member ABE UK.
Dammikka’s legacy counts for over 30 years of experience in strategic financial management and investment banking while he was also instrumental in starting up the company and brings in an extensive knowledge of investment management to the Wealth Trust Board.
Working closely with the Board of Directors and management team to shape and develop the company’s long-term, client-focused strategic plans, he provides advice, support and facilitates the decision-making process of the company.
With his extensive background in finance and management, Dammikka previously operated as the Managing Director / CEO of First Capital Treasuries Limited, CEO of Nat-Wealth Securities Limited, and Chief Manager of the Peoples Bank – Primary Dealer Unit.
Dammikka holds a MBA from University of Lincolnshire and Humberside (UK), as well as an Executive Diploma in Business Administration (EDBA) from University of Colombo.
Anarkali has accumulated years of experience in corporate strategic planning for financial sector organizations and has worked for some of the world’s leading financial entities that include CIMB Investment Bank, Amura Consulting, Forbes & Walker, Merrill Lynch Europe and Merrill Lynch Singapore. She currently sits on the boards of John Keells Hotels, Lanka Angel Network and Goodlife Accelerator.
Having worked predominantly on cross-border transactions across the ASEAN region in a variety of industries and in Corporate Finance transactions involving equity, equity-linked, and debt financing solutions for corporate clients across Europe, she possesses a wealth of expertise in all facets corporate finance and operations.
Anarkali has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Christ Church College, University of Oxford.
Having a wealth of experience in the apparel industry, Thimothy served as a global CEO of Stretchline Holdings Ltd(HK), the world’s largest Elastic manufacturer for intimate clothing and performance sportswear, where he played an integral role with his visionary thinking to transform Stretchline into Sri Lanka’s success story in supply chain management by expanding its operations to multiple offshore facilities.
He began his career as the Finance Manager at Ceylon Brewery Ltd in 1987 and held a post of General Manager in Aitken Spence Garments Ltd. He also operated as Managing Director/CEO of Stretchline (Pvt) Ltd.
Being a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) and a Fellow Member of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK (FCMA-UK), at present Thimothy serves as a member of the Board of MAS Holdings Limited, Contemporary Ceylon (Pvt) Ltd and McLarens Holdings Ltd. He also chairs the company’s audit committee.
